Ongoing Class is a place to stay sharp and current while working or actively seeking work. JRS has students at every level, from the “Working Actor” to the “Beginner.” Ongoing Class is a quest for your unique way into the text/character. All acting methods are tricks to get you to be “moment-to-moment” within the given circumstances provided by the text and your imagination. Ongoing Class focuses on finding which tools work best for the individual actor. Ongoing Class meets once a week and registration is at the beginning of every month. Classes are held at our studio while rehearsals are coordinated with classmates. We strongly encourage actors to rehearse at least twice a week.
