Sonal Shah 
A combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity, Sonal is a true advocate for artistic empowerment! She is honored to have been part of the amazing JRS Family for over four years. Sonal graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Theatre and Pre-Medicine magna cum laude, The Second City Conservatory, and The Stanislavski Summer School at Harvard. After performing extensively at various Chicago theatres including The Goodman, she moved to LA and booked a series regular role in an ABC Family pilot, a major recurring role on SCRUBS, commercials, several short films, stand up shows, and The NBC Diversity Showcase. She has also tested for six comedy pilots and has been invited to speak and host at events for NBC and Harvard, among others. Sonal has invaluable “behind the camera” experience having worked as a casting associate, writer, junior publicist and assistant at a top agency. An inspiring teaching assistant and coach, Sonal thrives on being in service to others and offers a loving yet challenging environment where fundamentals, instinct, growth, hard work, and storytelling are the leaders.
